Junior & Sophomore Screening, May 5th, 2015
The show is over! An enthusiastic and excited crowd, happily anxious animators, work with verve and variety, and now (aside from whatever assignments may still be lingering) the prospect of the freedom of summer...whew!
Good job, everyone!
Phil & Cat, seniors more relaxed, now.
Ra'shon, James, Mee, & Tim, after show chit-chat.
Zach & Karl, in earnest discussion.
Seniors in the balcony.
Ra'shon & Tim, basking in relief.
Holly, Meghan, and Mee.
Karl surrounded by McMullens.
Seniors in the balcony once again.

Day of Reckoning
seniors (mostly), post-screening |
The seniors are done, their pieces screened, and now they can relax and finally let go of all the tension that's built up over the past several weeks (if not much longer). Now it's the juniors (you guys) turn to sweat out the final moments before putting your work in front of a live audience.
One final blog post on the blogs to articulate what your thoughts and feelings about this entire process have been - what went right, what you found out about organization, time management, outside critique, and, of course, your content. This moment only happens once per project, so make this post a record of what you feel just before completion.
Good work, everyone, and good luck at tomorrow's screening!
Chris
Dre has two finals to hand in: Junior Animation and Animation Principles. And yet he is still awake.
Andrew is looking thrilled at the prospect of some remaining coloring.
James, not fully awake.
...but coming to life for the camera!
Tim, tired but conscious. But not for long...
Dre's Animation Principles final, still on the board.
Meghan, organized and ready for the show.
Greg, ready for a big nap.
Ra'shon, smiling gamely in spite of final coloring left to do.
Greg's station.
Mee, coloring to the bitter end!
Chris, final adjustments.
